Physical Therapy

nurses and elderly woman doing physical therapy

All County Home Care & Hospice has licensed physical therapists who can help improve and restore the movements and motor skills of patients who have lost such functions due to their medical conditions. They make use of patient education and performance of various locomotion exercises to achieve the goals set forth for the patient in physical therapy. These goals include:

  • reducing pain
  • preventing disability
  • restoring lost body function
  • improving mobility

Our physical therapist will first conduct an evaluation of the patient’s situation at home. The evaluation will help us determine the current and potential issues that may arise due to the situation. The therapist will develop a patient’s therapy program based on the results of the assessment conducted, and later on, perform various therapy modules which can include but will not be limited to:

  • Lymphedema Management and Care
  • Arthritis Treatment and Care
  • Joint Mobility Training
  • Vestibular Restoration
  • Gait and Stair Training
  • Body Mechanics Rehabilitation
  • Energy Management and Conservation

You or your loved one can also take advantage of our physical therapy services. Please call us at 830-331-1291 to inquire about the therapy.
